September 11thInterviewed the Bristol Old Vic's artistic director Tom Morris about the lovingly renovated theatre. It reopened with a reworking of John O'Keefe's play Wild Oats which I saw that evening. Earlier in the day, I also saw Before it Rains in the Studio Pit. Click here for the interview courtesy of Theatre Voice September 1stSaw J G Ballard's Cornelius in the intimate Finborough Theatre at Earl's Court. The play has just been revived after several decades - a sharp idea of someone's to bring back a work about the lives of workers in a company buckling under pressure from creditors. It's easy to empathise with the characters.
